Krista Laugalys started Sugar ‘n’ Spice Studios in 2005 at the tender age of 23, with a vision of empowering women to achieve anything they set their minds to. Krista, seeing a lack of consumer appreciation in the beauty industry, decided to start her own salon with an emphasis on comfort, care and quality. Her on-going goal is to assist women in looking beautiful both inside and out and to promote a strong and positive image, not only as an entrepreneur, but also as a stylist and friend.

From the time she was 15 years old, Krista was on her own working 2 jobs while putting herself through school. During that often difficult period of her life she learned the importance of a great work ethic, the necessity of self reliance but most importantly confidence.

Krista has put her stellar skills, extensive work experience and contagious charm (plus a pinch of this and a dash of that) into creating Sugar ‘n’ Spice Studios, a salon quickly becoming nationally recognized for its unique client-focused experience.
